Cultivation method:

Cultivate soil: The best is fertile sandy loam. The mixing ratio is one part of loam, 1 part of piled humus, and 1 part of coal ash. Mix thoroughly. This kind of soil is loose, fertile, permeable, and suitable for the growth of cycads.

Prune: When the stem grows up to 50 cm, the old leaves should be cut off in the spring, and then cut once a year, or at least once every 3 years. If the plant is still small and the degree of unfolding is not ideal, you can cut off all the leaves. This will not affect the angle of the new leaves, and will make the plant more perfect. When pruning, try to cut to the base of the petiole to make the stem neat and beautiful.

Change pot: Potted Cycas should be replaced at least once every 5 years. When changing the pot, the pot soil can be mixed with phosphate fertilizer such as bone meal, and the time for changing the pot is around 15℃.
