Maintenance Precaution:

Adenium obesum likes high temperature, drought, and sunny climate, likes calcium-rich, loose, breathable, well-drained sandy loam, intolerant of shade, avoiding waterlogging, avoiding heavy fertilizer and fertilization, fearing the cold, and growing at a suitable temperature 25-30°C.

In summer, it can be placed outdoors in a sunny place, without shading, and full watering to keep the soil moist, but not to accumulate water. Watering should be controlled in winter, and the overwintering temperature should be maintained above 10℃ to make the fallen leaves dormant. During cultivation, apply organic fertilizer 2 to 3 times a year as appropriate.

For reproduction, select 1-year to 2-year-old branches of about 10 cm in summer and cut them into the sand bed after the cut is slightly dry. The roots can be taken in 3 to 4 weeks. It can also be reproduced by high-altitude layering in summer. If seeds can be collected, sowing and propagation can also be carried out.
